Thank God for the gossips, you come to know you are not the only person who has committed mistakes in life!!

On the “International Women’s Day” I would like to thank all those women who made even the slightest difference in my life and taught me something new.

My Dadi (granny), who taught me independence;
My mom, for my existence;
My daughter, who taught me selfless love;
My Gujarati teacher, who taught me to be myself;
My neice, who taught me the value of sisterhood;
My helping hand, who taught me to keep cool in dire situations;
My girl friends, who taught me the value of sharing;
My online friends, especially Anubha, Fruity and Reema for listening to my bakwas;

I thank all those females whom I have not mentioned here but have played a great role in building up my character!

Thank you, cousins, for those special treats, those fights for ice candies, for cheating in games, for summer vacations together, for letting secrets out to mom and then feeling bad about it, for standing by me when time was tough, for telling me I look beautiful even when I looked my worst, for those “kinetic” rides, for late night snacks, for long walks in knee deep water on rainy days, for cracking jokes, for making me feel indispensable, for covering up for me when I did a mistake, for those worldly advices, for not finding anyone who was “good enough” for me, for giggling over a new boy in the neighbourhood, for all those wonderful years we have had together.
